Lifelong Floridian type post
Sunday in Orlando is supposed to be a high of 89 degrees. Tuesday when we arrive in western MD it's forecasted to SNOW.

Snow!!! OMG, I hope this is true. Oh please oh please oh please. I haven't seen snow in 20 years. And that was the only time.

In other news, I feel like an idiot because I booked part of our vacation in western Maryland so we could ride the scenic tourist train, only to find out that it doesn't run in April. Whoops.

But if I get to see snow it will all be worth it. Snow and mountains! At the same time! My eyeballs might explode!

LOL, Jackie, I would happily give you all the snow I can reach! We keep having high spring followed by snow, which is terrible if you're trying to plant anything outside.

I hope you do have friendlier weather for plants, at least! We had a weird late cold snap here and it was terrible for the orange trees. =(

That's the storm we had at the end of last week. YAY! SNOW! The train being unavailable means you'll have an excuse to go back soon. :D

Heehee...I'll take your snow. Just as long as it's not too much cause I don't have the best winter clothes. They wouldn't fit in my bag if I had them, either!

Snow -- jeez, I hope not. I'm not too far away. I think the train you're thinking of is supposed to be amazing in the fall, too. So come on back. Let me know what you think of the area. We're heading toward Skyline Dr. for Easter ....

Well, I hope we get snow and you don't. I'm not sure where you're at but I kept checking the forecast progressively deeper into the mountains and it got more likely to have snow, because I'm like, maybe we can CHASE the snow...

Skyline Drive sounds so pretty! I don't think I've ever been there.

Yes, I hope to see plenty of snow in years to come... Although when I went to NYC in February, they got this weird warm snap. I'm hoping I don't carry some Florida curse. (Although if that turns out to be true, other people would LOVE it! Maybe I could hire myself out.)

Yep! I'd love to meet up, although, the Romantic Times convention is across town from me, like an hour away, so I'm not sure it will work (I don't drive so I have to con my boyfriend into chauffeur duty)...I could maybe meet you halfway but I don't know if you're even renting a car.

We're not renting a car... Well, let's see what we can figure out. I have free time on Sunday 26th before I fly back home, I'll email you about it nearer the time. See what you and your boyfriend are doing. :)
