So I'm not a morning person, but...
Here's why I hope Carrie Jones will be elected to state legislator in Maine:
1. She is the fabulous author of books like Tips for Having a Gay (Ex) Boyfriend, Love (and Other Uses for Duct Tape), and the upcoming Girl, Hero (hey, it's the first one without parentheses!) and Need.
2. She is a kind and gracious person.
3. She is funny!!
4. She deeply CARES about things and she is not afraid to say-so, to remind us all to be more aware of the issues that matter to us.
5. She's just cool, okay?
Vote for Carrie! Or buy her books, at least. And even if you are, like me, rather poor, Tips will soon be available in paperback! Yay!
